Merit Kensington Hotel

Had a fabulous stay at the Merit Kensington. Room 117 was very clean, cleaned every day. Bed was comfortable. Shower was wonderful. Inside of property number 12 was clean and well presented. Great location, one minute walk to the nearest tube station. Just off the high street so everything you need within a short walk, shops, pubs, restaurants, bakeries etc.

The location of this hotel is great! Only a few minutes from Earl's Court Station. It's also near bus stops. I loved the quiet and beautiful neighborhood. In the area, you will find a selection of restaurants, pubs, bakeries, supermarkets, fast food restaurants, and more. Friendly staff. Room was decent size. Bathroom was small but modern, with heated floors.

Ok, first things first: Hotel rooms in London are small. Like really really small. That being said, I can say that Merit Hotel was excellent! Super clean, there’s carpet but it doesn’t stink at all! Minibar. Warm floor at the bathroom, good shower, excellent hairdryer. There are amenities but shampoo/conditioner in the same bottle is kind of weird. So bring your own shampoo. Shower gel is good. Good breakfast with scrambled eggs, croissants, coffee, tea, fresh fruits, yogurt, corn flakes. And beans, sausages and hashbrowns. There’s soy milk and gluten free options. Staff is amazing! The hotel is spread out in different buildings. The main building is number 16. Pay attention on the Blue Plaque at the entrance. If you’re into science, you’re gonna love it. Excellent location. Around the corner from Earl’s Court station. If you’re coming from Heathrow, use the Picadilly line. There’s lift and ramp for your bags.

Location good. Had to find somewhere to stay last minute as had family in Chelsea and Westminster hospital. Check in staff friendly and helpful. Room clean, quiet, modern and bathroom nice with good shower. Would definitely stay again.
